Volunteer work with Rotary can make a real difference to communities both home and abroad.

Through voluntary work and other activities, Rotary gives volunteers and young people the chance to hone and improve personal skills and educate themselves on the problems that different countries around the world face on a daily basis. Volunteer work also allows you to meet like-minded individuals, who you will work and socialise closely with, hopefully leading to new friendships and establishing long-lasting relationships.

Through voluntary work with Rotary, you will meet a large cross-section of people from a wide variety of business backgrounds. Add to this the diversity of our members from all walks of life then you will see the opportunity to interact with, and strike up professional connections across a large section of contrasting people, giving you the opportunity to share in business networking groups and events through volunteer work.

Voluntary work unites Rotary members at home and across the globe to share their knowledge and experience in a bid to take on and overcome some very challenging situations. Our volunteer work covers the following main areas:
