Each year Rotary Club of North Melbourne are engaged by the City of Melbourne to provide 1,100 meals to the participants in the Moomba Parade during the 2 hours after they complete it.
In order to serve all the meals in that time, they need about 24 volunteers. They drop the gear off the day before and setup from 9.00am in the morning and by the time to clean up and go is about 4.30pm in the afternoon.
Peak times are around 11.30am till 1.30pm.
