Regular Club Evenings
The club hosts a weekly dinner featuring buffet meal, (Usually held Tuesday 6pm) at Crown Towers Hotel - venue may change, with variety of guest speakers from business and community. This is a great opportunity for fellowship and networking.
We have a friendly and active club and we welcome guests and visitors, whether you are just curious about Rotary, visiting from another club anywhere in the world, or thinking about joining a Rotary Club. You are also encouraged to visit other Rotary clubs in addition to our own as another club may be suitable to your preferred meeting time / culture etc.
There is no requirement of any prior knowledge of Rotary or Rotarians.
Our normal meetings are held in the Garden Rooms (which is next to the Palladium), Level 1, Crown Tower Hotel (Queens Bridge end of the Crown Complex). Meetings are sometimes held at other locations (often social functions or special events), so please contact us for your personal invitation and to let us know that you are intending to visit.
Other meeting details:
Meetings are usually held every Tuesday from 6.00pm for a 6.30pm dinner (concludes by 7.30pm) throughout the year (except Melbourne Cup Day and 3 weeks over the Christmas / New Year period.)
The cost of a meeting is $35 which includes a buffet meal and drinks (wine and soft drink included).
Please feel free to arrive any time from 6pm to share some fellowship before the meeting or join us after the meeting for a social gathering and relax.

Parking Arrangements:
$6 parking is available at Crown for members and guests of the Rotary Club of Southbank in the multilevel car park to the south side of Whiteman Street.

How to get there:
Directions to Garden Rooms or Palladium Room on Level 1.
By Car: From the multi-level car park, take the elevator to the first floor, follow the walkway, crossing over Whiteman Street into the Crown Entertainment Complex and past the Movie theater and then down the escalators at the end into the food court. Turn right, at the bottom and head towards the Crown Hotel end of the complex. Proceed for about abother 500 metres (you will pass another entry to the gaming room on your way) and then turn at the next set of escalators on your right which you take you up to the entrance to the Palladium / Garden Rooms. There are usually attendants at the top of the escalators who will direct you to the right meeting room (or at other locations along the way if you really get stuck)
On Foot: If you are getting there on foot, go to the Atrium on the ground floor of the Crown Tower Hotel, and find the big black staircase. Go to the top of the stairs then turn left, keep walking and there is usually an attendant there to direct you. You may also take the lifts from the hotel lobby to level one. Once you exit the lift area, turn left and keep going to the other end of Level one. On your way, you'll walk past the top of the black stairs on your left, the Conservatory restaurant on your right, then the JJ Bar and Grill on your left. If you keep going you'll see the top of some escalators. There are usually attendants at the top of the escalators who will direct you to the right meeting room.
