To coincide with the Multi-District Conference to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Entertainment Centre, Rotary Club of Southbank are planning a Conference Club Dinner with a Difference.
Right at home, we will take the opportunity of welcome visiting Rotarians from across Victoria to share a dinner with us.
Our guest speaker for the evening is Sameer Vikram Babbar, Managing Director & CEO of SVB Group talking about "How small and medium businesses leverage data and technology to scale up business with ease".
Without resorting to complex techniques and technologies, the presentation will encompass asking simple questions, finding gaps in the market and then finding market in those gaps. Discussions will also point to freely available sources of data and software that any business will be able to understand and use.
There are lots of SME's who do not have a website. They do not record any information other than pieces of paper. There is immense opportunity to leverage information that is already available in business and from a wide range of free sources that businesses can leverage and scale up business, enhance revenue, cut costs, deal with Amazon and improve bottom-line without breaking the bank. This will appeal to all SME's who have interest in improving or scaling up business. It will inform, entertain and inspire.
